He has been invited to several biennial events, including: the Bienal del Fin del Mundo in South America; Biennial for Mediterranean Countries, Alexandria, Egypt; the Biennial of Tunis, and the Biennale dei Giovani artisti di Monza.

STATEMENT
My work explores how social pressure and conformity affect the individual and the context. I use painting to examine the individual’s degree of resistance or acquiescence in dealing with unprocessed emotions while reality changes.
The subjects I paint react or adapt to the pictorial circumstances I create, through slight shifts or pressures in their bodies and forms. Often, fingers, hands, arms, and other body parts act as countervailing forces to the emerging painted space that constantly reconfigures – just as reality itself.
Dirty brush strokes, lines, backgrounds, and false planes are the traps and pitfalls that I place on the canvas to test the figure and understand to what extent it can transform, to avoid disappearing.
